We created a hands-on experience where students can explore ‘Wind’ as a renewable energy resource. In particular students can design the blade for a wind turbine and deploy on a terrain to generate an output that exceeded that of their competition.
In collaboration with the Elizabeth Forward Middle School in Pennsylvania, we integrated physical and digital interactions in a fun and engaging way. Far from the traditional classroom methods, students will learn about energy in an exciting, immersive environment. They will come to appreciate both applied and practical design aesthetics.
With our experience, students gain a sense of how scientific principles are applied in the real world.
Role: Programmer, Artist
Major Responsibilities included designing and developing the physics simulation, content for the secondary audience, terrains for turbine deployment and the networked competitive gameplay system.
